How Does Individual Coaching Work?

1. Context & rapport
Your coach starts by sharing the context of their coaching style and builds rapport with you to create trust, critical thinking, and empowerment. Our coaching is designed to go where you want to go and is not based on an agenda.

2. Identify
We then support you in identifying and understanding your current state – what you’re experiencing, how you feel, and your Internal Thought Process [ITP]. Then we identify what’s working about this, what’s not, and what might be missing.

3. Vision
Next, we identify together, the vision you have for your coaching experience and leadership development. You and your coach get to understand clearly what matters most to you and why. When this is understood, it creates clarity on how you can best be supported and held accountable throughout your coaching experience and beyond as you sustain and amplify your results.

4. Dive in
Once this foundation is set, you and your coach dive into your coaching sessions where you will begin to address your ITP, current experiences, conversations, emotions, and workplace scenarios to unpack and create new clarity and action around them.

Coaching sessions are weekly or every 2 weeks, and can be held in-person or virtually. You and your coach determine the duration of the coaching engagement up front [minimum of 6-month engagements].

5. Recap, sustain, amplify
As your coaching experience comes to a close, your coach will create the space for you to reflect and recap the journey so you can sustain what is working. It is also an opportunity to identify areas you want to focus on and amplify in your leadership development moving forward.
